College instruction should not be about disseminating drops of knowledge that students collect as they move from course to course. It should be more like kindling the curiosity among the students encouraging them to acquire life-skills, develop a sense of self-belief and to prepare them to innovate and take risks in life...
To quote Swami Vivekananda, “We want education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.”
